If you are driving from Huatulco, start by heading southeast on Boulevard Chahue toward Boulevard Santa Cruz. Continue on this road for about 5 km until you reach the junction with the highway. Turn left onto the highway (Mex 200) and continue for approximately 1 km. You will see signs for Playa Cacaluta on your right. Follow the signs and take the right turn onto the dirt road leading to the beach. There is typically no entrance fee, but note that the road may be bumpy, so drive carefully.

To reach Playa Cacaluta via public transportation, you can take a local bus from the main bus station in Huatulco. Board a bus heading toward La Crucecita. Once you reach La Crucecita, you will need to catch a taxi to Playa Cacaluta. The taxi ride from La Crucecita to the beach will cost around 150-200 MXN. Be sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to the beach entrance.
