Car
If you're driving from central Huatulco, head south on Boulevard Benito Juárez. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road to La Crucecita. Turn left onto the road leading to La Crucecita and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Playa la Esperanza. The beach is located at the coordinates QV7J+2R, which is about a 5-minute drive from the main area of La Crucecita. There is no entry fee to access the beach itself.
Public Transportation
To reach Playa la Esperanza via public transportation, start at the central bus terminal in Huatulco. Look for a bus heading towards La Crucecita. The fare is approximately 10-20 pesos. Once you arrive in La Crucecita, get off at the main square. From there, you can either walk to Playa la Esperanza, which is about a 15-20 minute walk, or take a local taxi for around 50-100 pesos depending on your negotiation skills. Taxis are readily available and can take you directly to the beach.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Huatulco. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Playa la Esperanza, and they will take you there. The journey takes about 10 minutes and will cost you between 100-150 pesos, depending on your starting point and negotiation.
