From Zihuatanejo, head to the main bus terminal located at Calle 5 de Febrero. Look for the buses heading towards Ixtapa, which run frequently. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach Playa El Palmar. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes. After disembarking, you will be a short walk away from the beach.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo. For example, from the Zihuatanejo town center, you can find taxis near the main plaza. Simply tell the driver 'Playa El Palmar' or show them the address: 40880 Zihuatanejo, Guerrero. The taxi ride will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
