If you are driving from San Cristóbal de las Casas, take the Periférico Norte road (Perif. Nte. 4) heading towards Ojo de Agua. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers. The Reserva Ecológica y Jardín de Orquídeas Moxviquil will be on your left side. Look for the entrance sign and parking area. Ensure you have cash for the entrance fee, which is around 50 MXN per person.

To reach Reserva Ecológica y Jardín de Orquídeas Moxviquil by public transport, head to the main bus station in San Cristóbal de las Casas. Look for buses or colectivos heading towards Ojo de Agua or nearby attractions in the Lacandon Jungle. The fare is typically around 20-30 MXN. Inform the driver of your destination. Once you arrive at Ojo de Agua, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of the reserve.

If you are already in Ojo de Agua and prefer to walk, head towards Periférico Norte (Perif. Nte. 4) and walk along the road for about 1 kilometer. The reserve entrance will be on your right. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
