If you are driving from the center of Ajijic, head east on Calle Zaragoza towards Calle Gustavo Díaz Ordaz. Continue straight onto Carretera Chapala-Jocotepec (also known as Highway 15) and follow the road for approximately 15 kilometers. When you reach Jocotepec, look for the signs directing you to the Malecón de Jocotepec. Turn onto C. Miguel Arana LB, and you will see the Malecón on your left.

To reach the Malecón de Jocotepec via public transportation, take a bus from Ajijic to Jocotepec. Buses depart regularly from the main street near the plaza in Ajijic. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jocotepec bus station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (Carretera Chapala-Jocotepec). Turn left and head towards C. Miguel Arana LB. The Malecón will be a short walk away, located on your left.
