Getting There

Metro and Bus
Start your journey at any metro station in Mexico City. If you're near the historic center, take Line 2 (Blue Line) towards Tasqueña and get off at the Tasqueña station. From Tasqueña, exit and look for the bus terminal located outside the station. Take a bus heading to Tepoztlán, which are marked with 'Tepoztlán' on the windshield. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Tepoztlán, you'll need to take a local taxi or a walk to the entrance of the Archaeological Zone Tepozteco, which is about 5 kilometers from the town center.

Direct Bus
Head to the Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Cuautla, which is accessible via metro to the Pantitlán station, then transfer to Line 9 (Brown Line) and get off at the Centro Médico station to catch a taxi to the bus terminal. From there, purchase a ticket to Tepoztlán. The bus will take around 1.5 hours. Upon arriving in Tepoztlán, you can take a local taxi to the Archaeological Zone Tepozteco, which is roughly 5 kilometers away.
