Getting There

• Metro and Bus

  From your location in Mexico City, take the Metro Line 1 (Pink Line) towards Pantitlan. Get off at the Balderas station and transfer to Line 3 (Olive Green Line) towards Indios Verdes. Get off at the Hidalgo station and transfer to Line 2 (Blue Line) towards Tasqueña. Get off at the Tasqueña station. From Tasqueña, you can catch a bus to Tepoztlán. Look for buses marked 'Tepoztlán' at the bus terminal; they run frequently. Once you arrive at Tepoztlán, you can take a taxi or walk to the Archaeological Zone Tepozteco, which is about a 30-minute walk from the bus station.

• Direct Bus

  Head to the Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Pasajeros de Taxqueña (the main bus terminal). You can take a taxi or use public transport to get there. At the terminal, look for buses going directly to Tepoztlán. Buses usually depart every 30 minutes, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Tepoztlán, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Archaeological Zone Tepozteco, which is a short taxi ride or a 30-minute walk from the bus drop-off point.

• Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a rideshare service like Uber. Open the app and set your destination to 'Archaeological Zone Tepozteco, Tepoztlán.' The driver will pick you up from your location in Mexico City and take you directly to the site. Expect the trip to take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
