The Majestic Fountain of Tlaloc

Getting There

• Metro

  To reach Fuente de Tlaloc, start by taking the Metro to 'Chapultepec' station on Line 1 (the pink line). Once you arrive at Chapultepec station, exit the station and head towards the Chapultepec Park. Follow the signs that direct you to the Bosque de Chapultepec. After exiting the station, you will walk for about 10-15 minutes through the park, keeping an eye out for the large fountain. Fuente de Tlaloc is located along Av. Rodolfo Neri Vela, within the park, and is a recognizable landmark.

• Bus

  You can take a bus to get to Fuente de Tlaloc as well. Look for buses that head towards Chapultepec Park. Buses with routes that stop near the park include 7, 10, and 15. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Bosque de Chapultepec. Once you get off the bus, walk towards Av. Rodolfo Neri Vela, and continue walking into the park until you see the fountain.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Fuente de Tlaloc. Navigate towards Bosque de Chapultepec, which is a large urban park in the Miguel Hidalgo borough. Once you enter the park, follow the paths leading into the heart of the park until you reach Av. Rodolfo Neri Vela. The fountain will be located within this area. Look for signs pointing towards the Fuente de Tlaloc, as it is a popular attraction.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many bike-sharing stations around the city. Head towards Chapultepec Park and enter through the main entrances. You can cycle through the park, following the paths until you reach the area of Av. Rodolfo Neri Vela. Parking areas for bicycles are available near the fountain.
