Travel Guide to Old Customs Buildings, Mexico City

Getting There

• Metro

  To reach the Old Customs Buildings from anywhere in Mexico City using the metro, locate the nearest metro station. Board Line 2 (Blue Line) towards Tasqueña. If you're starting from a station on another line, transfer to Line 2 at Pino Suárez or Chapultepec. Once you arrive at 'Pino Suárez' station, exit the train and follow the signs to 'Salidas'. After exiting, head northeast on Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with República de Brasil. Turn right on República de Brasil, and the Old Customs Buildings will be on your right at #31.

• Bus

  Catch a bus heading towards 'Centro Histórico'. Look for the buses that display 'Centro' on their front. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when to get off for República de Brasil. After disembarking, you should walk a few blocks east along Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas until you reach the intersection with República de Brasil. Turn right on República de Brasil, and the Old Customs Buildings will be at #31 on your right.

• Walking

  If you're already in the vicinity of the Historic Center, simply navigate towards the Zócalo (the main square). From the Zócalo, head east on Correo Mayor until you reach the intersection with República de Brasil. Turn left on República de Brasil and continue walking straight for about 5 minutes. The Old Customs Buildings will be on your right at #31.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Simply enter 'República de Brasil #31, Centro Histórico de la Cdad. de México' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the Old Customs Buildings. Make sure to confirm the address before departure.
