Bus
From Mexico City, head to the Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Pasajeros de Observatorio (also known as TAPO), which is one of the main bus terminals. You can take the Metro Line 7 (orange line) to Tacubaya, and then transfer to Line 7 towards El Rosario until you reach the terminal. Once at TAPO, purchase a ticket to Teotihuacán. Buses to Teotihuacán typically leave every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Teotihuacán bus terminal, take a taxi or a local colectivo (shared van) to Palacio de Tetitla, which is approximately 10 minutes away.
Metro + Bus
Begin your journey at any Metro station in Mexico City. Take the Metro Line 5 (yellow line) towards Pantitlán and transfer at Pantitlán to Line 1 (pink line) towards Tacubaya. Exit at the last stop, Pantitlán, and find the bus terminal nearby. Look for buses heading to Teotihuacán. Once on the bus, the trip will take about 1-1.5 hours. After arriving at the Teotihuacán bus terminal, you can either take a taxi or a colectivo (shared van) to reach Palacio de Tetitla, which is about 10 minutes away.
Colectivo
From any central location in Mexico City, make your way to the nearest Metro station and take the Metro to the Terminal de Autobuses del Norte. Once there, look for a colectivo (shared van) that is heading to Teotihuacán. The colectivos leave when they are full, so you might wait a few minutes. The travel time is roughly 1 to 1.5 hours. After arriving at Teotihuacán, you can take another short taxi ride or a local colectivo to Palacio de Tetitla.
