Fantastic murals in Palacio de Bellas Artes
WOW! What a grand space! El Palacio de Bellas Artes was one of the highlights of our stay in México City. Our guide to this gem was Tiare. She walked us through all the amazing murals in this space. Her words were so full of passion and pride that the paintings seemed to come to life in front of our eyes. These murals show the genious of the grand Mexican muralists of the first half of the 20th Century, Diego Rivera, Manuel Rodriguez Lozano and Sequieros among others. We had Tiare for ourselves as a private tour, but she commanded such confidence that people would gather around us to listen to her explanations. If you like art and murals this is a 100% must.
