Teatro Centenario Coyoacán: A Cultural Gem in Mexico City

Getting There

• Metro

  Take Line 3 (the green line) of the Mexico City Metro towards Indios Verdes. Get off at the Coyoacán station. Exit the station and walk towards Avenida Miguel Ángel de Quevedo. Head south on Avenida Miguel Ángel de Quevedo until you reach Centenario Street. Turn left onto Centenario Street, and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Teatro Centenario Coyoacán, located at Centenario 159.

• Bus

  From the Chapultepec area, take the Metrobus Line 1 (the red line) from the Chapultepec station towards Pantitlan. Transfer at the Tacubaya station to Line 7 (the orange line) towards El Rosario. Get off at the San Antonio station and transfer to the Metro Line 12 (the golden line) towards Mixcoac. Get off at the Mixcoac station and take a taxi or a local bus to Coyoacán. Ask the driver to drop you off at Centenario 159.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  Use a rideshare app like Uber or a local taxi service. Enter 'Teatro Centenario Coyoacán' or the exact address 'Centenario 159, Del Carmen, Coyoacán, 04100 Ciudad de México, CDMX' in the app. The driver will take you directly to the theater. This is a convenient option if you’re carrying luggage or prefer a direct route.

  If you're already in the Coyoacán area, you can simply walk to Teatro Centenario. Look for Centenario Street, which runs through Del Carmen neighborhood.
