Turn right onto Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Continue walking for another 2 blocks, and you will see Fuente de la República on your left, located in the Plaza de la República.

From there, exit the station and walk east on Avenida 16 de Septiembre for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Fuente de la República, which will be on your left.
