Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're in Centro Historico, start by heading towards Avenida Juárez. Walk northeast along Avenida Juárez for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Paseo de la Reforma. Cross the street when it's safe to do so, and continue walking straight until you see Plaza de la República on your right, just before the intersection with Avenida de la República.

  • Metro

    For a faster option, locate the nearest Metro station, which is Bellas Artes (Line 2, the blue line). Board the train heading towards Tasqueña. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Allende'. Exit the station and walk towards Avenida Juárez. From there, head northeast until you reach Plaza de la República, which will be on your right after a few minutes of walking.

  • Bus

    You can also take a bus. Look for buses heading towards Avenida de la República. Board at one of the nearby bus stops in Centro Historico. The fare is typically around 8 pesos (MXN). Once you get off, you will be right by Plaza de la República.
