If you're driving, start from San Miguel de Allende. Head northwest on Calle de la 5 de Febrero toward Calle de la Cruz. Continue onto Carretera San Miguel de Allende - Guanajuato (also known as Highway 51). Drive for about 9.5 kilometers. Cañada de la Virgen will be on your right side, clearly marked. Make sure to check for parking on-site. There are no entrance fees to the archaeological site.
