Getting There

  From the center of Oaxaca, head to the 'Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros ADO' located on Avenida Independencia. Purchase a ticket to Ocotlán de Morelos. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Ocotlán, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Ex-Convento de Santo Domingo. Head east on Calle Morelos, turn left onto Calle Maximiliano Amador, and the Ex-Convento will be on your right.

It’s a distance of approximately 25 kilometers, so prepare for a long trek of about 5-6 hours. Follow the road signs toward Ocotlán and when you arrive, head towards Maximiliano Amador where the Ex-Convento is located.
