Getting There

You can take a local taxi or a short walk if you're close enough. Once at the bus station, look for the buses labeled 'Monte Albán' or 'San Antonio Arrazola'. The fare is usually around 10-20 pesos. Buses leave frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you are going to Monte Albán, and they will drop you off at the entrance.

  • Collective Taxi (Colectivo)

    From the Zócalo (main square) in Oaxaca, find a colectivo (shared taxi) that goes to Monte Albán. You can find these collective taxis on Avenida Juárez, near the corner of Calle de la Merced.
