Walking
From the Zócalo (main square) in Oaxaca, head south on Calle de Manuel Garcia Vigil. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de Independencia. Turn left onto Calle de Independencia and walk a few blocks until you reach Avenida de la Independencia. Turn right and continue walking until you see the intersection with Mártires de Tacubaya. Taller Bambú will be on your left at Mártires de Tacubaya 507, RUTA INDEPENDENCIA.

From the Zócalo, you can catch a bus heading towards the RUTA INDEPENDENCIA area. Look for buses labeled as 'Independencia' or 'Centro'. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop near Mártires de Tacubaya. Once you get off, walk a short distance until you find Taller Bambú located at Mártires de Tacubaya 507.
