If you are near the main square (Zócalo) in Centro Histórico, start by heading southwest on Avenida 5 de Mayo. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 2 de Abril. Turn left onto Calle 2 de Abril. Plaza de la Danza will be on your left after a short walk, approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.

From the Museo de las Culturas de Oaxaca, exit the museum and walk east on Calle de la República towards Avenida 5 de Mayo. When you reach Avenida 5 de Mayo, turn left and continue until you find Calle 2 de Abril. Turn left onto Calle 2 de Abril, and Plaza de la Danza will be on your left. This route takes about 15 minutes.
