    If you are starting from the Zócalo (the main square in Oaxaca), head southeast on Calle de Manuel García Vigil towards Calle de 5 de Febrero. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de Morelos. Turn right on Calle de Morelos and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle de Vicente Guerrero. Turn left onto Vicente Guerrero, and after a short walk, Panteón General will be on your left. Look for the entrance which is marked and easily visible.

    From the Zócalo, you can take a local bus heading towards the cemetery area. Look for buses marked with 'Panteón' or 'Cementerio'. Board the bus and tell the driver you are going to Panteón General. The bus will drop you off nearby. Once you get off, walk a couple of blocks northwest until you see the entrance to Panteón General on your right.

    If you are renting a bicycle, start from the Zócalo and head southeast on Calle de Manuel García Vigil. Continue onto Calle de Morelos and then onto Calle de Vicente Guerrero. The entire route is approximately 2 km and should take you about 10-15 minutes. Panteón General will be on your left as you approach the area. There is usually a designated parking area for bicycles near the entrance.
