If you're driving, start from the nearest city, Puerto Escondido. Head southeast on Federal Highway 200 for approximately 40 kilometers. Once you reach the town of San Miguel del Puerto, follow the signs directing you to Cascadas Magicas de Copalitilla. The waterfalls are about 15 kilometers from San Miguel del Puerto. The road may be bumpy, so drive carefully. There may be a small parking fee at the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Cascadas Magicas de Copalitilla via public transportation, first take a bus from Puerto Escondido to San Miguel del Puerto. Buses depart regularly from the main bus terminal, and the fare is approximately 30-50 MXN. Once in San Miguel del Puerto, you can hire a local taxi or collectivo (shared taxi) to take you the last 15 kilometers to the waterfalls. Expect to pay around 200-300 MXN for the taxi ride.

If you enjoy hiking, you can start your journey on foot from San Miguel del Puerto after reaching the town by bus. Follow the trail that leads toward the waterfalls.
