After approximately 10 km (about 6 miles), look for signs to Playa Estacahuite. You will turn left onto a smaller road leading directly to the beach. The drive from San Pedro Pochutla to Playa Estacahuite takes about 15-20 minutes, and there is no entry fee to access the beach.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a colectivo (shared taxi) from San Pedro Pochutla to Puerto Angel. The colectivos leave frequently from the main square in San Pedro Pochutla, and the fare is around 30-40 MXN (about $1.50-$2.00 USD). Ask the driver to drop you off at Playa Estacahuite. The total travel time is about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the road leading to the beach, it's a short walk to the shore.

    If you have arrived at the nearby town of Puerto Angel and wish to walk, from the town center, head southwest towards the coast.
