There are minimal signs, but you can use GPS coordinates (15.6746764, -96.4769176) to guide you directly to the beach.
Public Transportation

To reach Playa La Mina via public transportation, take a colectivo (shared taxi) from Puerto Escondido to Estacahuite. These can be found near the main bus terminal in Puerto Escondido. The cost for the colectivo is around 50-70 pesos. Once you arrive in Estacahuite, you may need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to the beach. Follow the path toward the coast, and you’ll find signs pointing to Playa La Mina.

If you are already in Estacahuite, you can walk to Playa La Mina. Start at the main square in Estacahuite, head south toward the coast, and follow the beach path.
