Getting there

Car

From Puerto Vallarta, take the Highway 200 heading north. Continue for approximately 50 km. You will pass through the towns of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Bucerías. Keep following the signs for Las Varas. Once you reach Las Varas, continue for another 10 km until you see the exit for Rincón de Guayabitos. Take the exit and follow the signs to Guayabitos beach, which is located at Rtno. Jacarandas 3, Rincón de Guayabitos. The entire drive should take around 1.5 hours, depending on traffic.

Bus

From Puerto Vallarta, head to the main bus terminal (Central de Autobuses). Take a bus heading to Tepic, and ask the driver to drop you off at La Peñita de Jaltemba. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in La Peñita, you can take a local taxi or walk approximately 2 km to reach Guayabitos beach located at Rtno. Jacarandas 3. Taxis are available near the bus drop-off point.

If you are already in a nearby town like La Peñita, you can take a taxi directly to Guayabitos beach. Just tell the driver your destination (Rtno. Jacarandas 3, Rincón de Guayabitos), and they will take you there directly. This is a convenient option if you have luggage or prefer not to walk.
