From Puerto Vallarta, take the Highway 200 heading north. Continue for approximately 50 km. You will pass through the towns of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Bucerías. Keep following the signs for Las Varas. Once you reach Las Varas, continue for another 10 km until you see the exit for Rincón de Guayabitos. Take the exit and follow the signs to Guayabitos beach, which is located at Rtno. Jacarandas 3, Rincón de Guayabitos. The entire drive should take around 1.5 hours, depending on traffic.

From Puerto Vallarta, head to the main bus terminal (Central de Autobuses). Take a bus heading to Tepic, and ask the driver to drop you off at La Peñita de Jaltemba.
