From major cities in the Pacific Coast such as Puerto Vallarta or Tepic, take the main highway (Carretera Federal 200). If coming from Puerto Vallarta, head north along the coastline, enjoying scenic views of the Pacific Ocean. After about 90 minutes, follow signs to La Peñita de Jaltemba and turn onto Rtno. Jacarandas. Continue straight until you reach Guayabitos Beach. Parking is available nearby, but expect to pay a small fee (around 50-100 MXN) depending on the parking area.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For those opting for public transportation, locate a bus terminal in your current city. Buses regularly depart from Puerto Vallarta and Tepic to La Peñita de Jaltemba. The bus ride takes approximately 2 hours and costs around 100-150 MXN. Once you arrive at La Peñita, you can catch a local taxi or a colectivo (shared taxi) to Rincón de Guayabitos for about 20-30 MXN. Inform the driver to drop you off at Guayabitos Beach, which is a popular destination.
