Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Zihuatanejo from your current location in the Pacific Coast region. Use local signs to guide you towards Zihuatanejo, which is well-signposted. Once you arrive in Zihuatanejo, navigate to Playa la Madera. From the main road (Boulevard Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo), turn onto Calle Adelitas. The Malecón is located right along the beach area of Playa la Madera at Adelitas 34.
Public Transportation (Bus)
If you're using public transportation, look for a bus that travels to Zihuatanejo. These buses can be boarded at various points along the Pacific Coast, including Ixtapa, Acapulco, or other nearby towns. The fare is typically around 30-50 MXN (1.50-2.50 USD). Once you arrive at the Zihuatanejo bus terminal, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to reach Malecón Zihuatanejo. If walking, head east towards the beach, following signs to Playa la Madera, and you will find the Malecón at Adelitas 34.
Taxi or Rideshare
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare service (if available). From anywhere in Zihuatanejo, simply provide the driver with the address: Adelitas 34, Playa la Madera. The cost for a taxi should be around 50-100 MXN (2.50-5.00 USD) depending on your starting point within the city.
