If you are driving from Acapulco, take the Autopista del Sol (Mexico 95D) heading east. Continue on this highway for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the town of Tixtla. From Tixtla, follow the signs for Cocula (approximately 20 kilometers). After reaching Cocula, look for the signs directing you to Tehuacalco, which is approximately 15 kilometers from Cocula. The journey should take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

Public Transportation
From Acapulco, take a bus to Tixtla. Buses leave regularly from the Acapulco bus terminal (Terminal de Autobuses Estrella de Oro) and the trip takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Tixtla, you can catch a local bus or taxi to Cocula. From Cocula, you can find a taxi or local transport to reach Tehuacalco, which is about 15 kilometers away. Be sure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver before starting your journey.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from either Acapulco or Tixtla directly to Tehuacalco.
