If you are driving from Puerto Vallarta, take Highway 200 south for approximately 30 km (about 18 miles). Look for the signs for 'Yelapa' and 'Boca de Tomatlán.' Once you reach Boca de Tomatlán, park your car in the designated parking area. Be aware that there may be a small parking fee (around 50 MXN). From Boca de Tomatlán, you cannot drive directly to Yelapa as it is only accessible by boat or hiking.

The fare is typically around 100-150 MXN per person for a one-way trip. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Yelapa beach, you can walk towards the village, where you will find signs directing you to the waterfall.
