Collectivo

From Playa del Carmen, head to the main street, Avenida 5 Norte. Look for a collectivo van station near the corner of Calle 2 Norte. Board a collectivo heading towards Tulum; the fare is usually around 50-60 pesos. Inform the driver that you are going to Cenotes Sac Actún. The driver will drop you off at the entrance to the cenotes, which is located along Carretera Federal 307, about 1 kilometer past Xel-Há.

Taxi

You can take a taxi from anywhere in Playa del Carmen. Simply ask the driver to take you to Cenotes Sac Actún, located on Carretera Federal 307, un kilometro hacia Tulum, passing Xel-Há. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start your journey; it may cost around 500-600 pesos. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes.

Bicycle

If you are feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the scenery, you can rent a bicycle in Playa del Carmen. Start from the beach area and head towards the south, following Avenida 5 Sur. Continue cycling towards Tulum, which is about 45 km away. You will need to ride along the highway (Carretera Federal 307) until you reach the cenotes.
