Getting There

Taxi
To get to the Mayan Bee Sanctuary, you can easily find a taxi in the main tourist areas of Playa del Carmen. Simply approach any taxi stand or hail one on the street. Tell the driver 'Mayan Bee Sanctuary en Carr Transversal km 10'. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

Colectivo
For a more local experience, you can take a colectivo (shared van). Head to the main bus station or the corner of Avenida 30 and Calle 8, where colectivos to Tulum pass frequently. Board a colectivo heading to Tulum and tell the driver to drop you off at Carr Transversal, near the Mayan Bee Sanctuary. Once you get off, it will be a short walk to the sanctuary.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Playa del Carmen. Head south on Avenida 30 until you reach the intersection with Carr Transversal. Turn right onto Carr Transversal and continue cycling for approximately 10 km. You will see signs for the Mayan Bee Sanctuary on your left.

Walking is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 10 km) and the lack of sidewalks, but if you are adventurous, you can start on Avenida 30 heading south and then connect to Carr Transversal. Be cautious of traffic, and it may take over 2 hours to reach the sanctuary.
