Walking
If you are starting from the popular tourist area known as 5th Avenue (Quinta Avenida), head towards the intersection of 5th Avenue and Av. Benito Juárez. Walk east on Av. Benito Juárez for about 3 blocks until you reach Parque Los Fundadores, which will be on your left. Look for the distinctive large wooden 'Portal Maya' sculpture at the entrance of the park.

Public Transport (Collectivo)
From any location in Playa del Carmen, locate a colectivo taxi stand. These are usually found along 5th Avenue. Take a colectivo heading towards Tulum or Akumal, and ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Parque Los Fundadores. Once you get off, you may need to walk back a few blocks along Av. Benito Juárez to reach the park, which will be on your left.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from your accommodation and head towards 5th Avenue. Once on 5th Avenue, ride towards the north until you reach Av. Benito Juárez. Turn left onto Av.
