Walking
If you are starting from the beachfront area in Puerto Vallarta, head east along the Malecon (boardwalk) towards the Cuale River. Continue walking until you reach the bridge that crosses the river, known as the Cuale River Bridge. The bridge is visible from the Malecon, and you can follow the path along the river to get to it.

Public Transport
From the central area of Puerto Vallarta, you can take a local bus heading towards the Las Canoas area. Board the bus at one of the main bus stops along Calle 31 de Octubre or Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the 'Las Canoas' stop. Once you get off, walk a short distance towards Calle Av. Libramiento, and you will see the Cuale River Bridge ahead.

Biking
If you have access to a bike, you can ride from the downtown area towards the Cuale River Bridge. Head up Calle 31 de Octubre and then take a left onto Av. Libramiento. Follow the road for about 1 km until you reach the bridge. There are bike lanes along parts of this route, making it a pleasant ride.
