Walking
If you are in the heart of Zona Romantica, you can easily walk to Estatua de la Lavandera. Start at the intersection of Calle Francisca Rodríguez and Calle Ignacio L. Vallarta. Head towards the coast, following Calle Francisco I. Madero until you reach the Malecon. Once you arrive at the Malecon, turn left and walk north along the promenade. After a short stroll, you'll spot the Estatua de la Lavandera near the beach, positioned prominently on the Malecon. The entire walk should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer public transport, you can take a local bus from various points in Zona Romantica. Look for buses marked 'Centro' or 'Malecón'. Board the bus and pay the fare, which is usually around 10-15 MXN. Disembark at the stop nearest to the Malecon. From there, walk towards the beach; Estatua de la Lavandera will be a short walk along the Malecon. Note that buses may be crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons.
Taxi or Rideshare
For a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Estatua de la Lavandera' or provide the address: Malecon, Centro, 48300 Puerto Vallarta, Jal. The fare will vary depending on your location but generally ranges from 50 to 100 MXN for a short ride within Zona Romantica. This option is great if you're traveling with luggage or if the weather is less than ideal.
