From Puerto Vallarta, head to the main bus terminal located at Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio. Purchase a ticket to Mascota at the terminal. Buses to Mascota run multiple times a day. The journey will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Mascota bus station, you can walk to Plaza Principal de Mascota, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Head east on Calle Libertad, then take a left onto Calle Ayuntamiento, and you will find the plaza on your right.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Puerto Vallarta to Mascota. You can find taxis at various locations around town, especially near hotels and tourist areas. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey. The taxi ride will take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. The driver can drop you off directly at Plaza Principal de Mascota.

These vans leave when they are full and can be a quicker option than the bus. The ride will take around 2 hours.
