If you are in the Romantic Zone, start by heading north on Avenida Insurgentes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lázaro Cárdenas, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. Turn left onto Lázaro Cárdenas and walk for another 5 minutes. You will see Puerto Vallarta Municipal Park on your right, located at Lázaro Cárdenas, 48330 Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

From the Malecon, walk to the nearest bus stop along Avenida México. Take any bus heading towards the north direction, specifically those that stop at the Lázaro Cárdenas area. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the stop closest to Lázaro Cárdenas. Walk a short distance to the park, which will be on your left.

You can easily find a taxi in most tourist areas. Simply tell the driver 'Puerto Vallarta Municipal Park' or 'Parque Municipal Lázaro Cárdenas' as your destination. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic, and the driver will drop you off right outside the park located at Lázaro Cárdenas, 48330 Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

If you are near the Malecon or the Romantic Zone, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Head north along the waterfront path until you reach Avenida Insurgentes. Turn left and ride until you reach Lázaro Cárdenas. Turn left onto Lázaro Cárdenas and follow the road for about 5 minutes. The park will be on your right.
