Getting There

• Bus

  From Puerto Vallarta, head to the main bus terminal called 'Central de Autobuses'. You can take a taxi or walk if you are near the Malecón area. At the terminal, purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Sayulita. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Sayulita bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the main square, which is about a 5-minute walk. Head east on Av. Revolución for two blocks until you reach Sayulita Plaza.

• Uber or Rideshare

  Open your Uber app and set your destination to Sayulita Plaza, located at Av. Revolución 41, 63734 Sayulita, Nayarit. The ride will take about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Your driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the Plaza.

• Shared Van

  Look for a shared van service (collectivo) that travels between Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita. These can often be found in central locations such as near the Malecón or at the bus terminal. The fare is typically around 50-100 pesos. The van will drop you off in Sayulita, a short walk from the plaza. Walk towards the town center and follow the signs to Sayulita Plaza, which is only a 5-minute walk from where the van stops.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Puerto Vallarta. Head towards the highway that leads to Sayulita, following the signs. The ride is approximately 30 kilometers and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Once you arrive in Sayulita, make your way to Av. Revolución and continue until you reach Sayulita Plaza.
