Walking
If you are starting from the Malecón (the famous boardwalk in Puerto Vallarta), head south along the waterfront towards the Romantic Zone. Continue on Calle Olas Altas until you reach Calle Basilio Badillo. Turn right onto Calle Basilio Badillo and walk until you hit the main road, Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio. Cross the street, and you will see a bus stop. From here, take any bus heading towards Las Juntas or El Tuito that stops along this route. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio and Calle 16 de Septiembre.

From the bus stop, walk west on Calle 16 de Septiembre for a few blocks until you reach the intersection with Calle 31 de Octubre. At this intersection, you will see The Progress Bridge ahead. You can also ask locals for directions as most are friendly and willing to help tourists.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops along the Malecón. Head south towards the Romantic Zone, and follow the same route as mentioned above via Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio. Make sure to use bike lanes where available and be cautious of traffic as you approach The Progress Bridge.
