Walking
From any point in Marina Vallarta, head towards the main road, Avenida Paseo de la Marina. Walk along this road heading towards the south until you reach the intersection with Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio. Cross over to the left side of the road and continue straight until you reach the beach area. You'll see signs directing you towards the Malecon. The total walking distance is approximately 3.5 km which should take about 45-60 minutes depending on your pace.

Public Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop on Avenida Paseo de la Marina. Board a local bus heading towards 'Centro' (make sure to confirm with the driver if you’re unsure). The fare is approximately 10 pesos (around 0.50 USD). Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, and ask the driver to let you know when to get off at the Malecon. Disembark at Paseo Díaz Ordaz, and you'll be just a short walk from the Malecon.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Marina Vallarta. Ensure the taxi is registered (look for a taxi stand or ask your hotel to call one for you). The ride to the Malecon will cost around 100-150 pesos (approximately 5-8 USD) and will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Let the driver know you want to go to Paseo Díaz Ordaz, and they will drop you off right at the Malecon.
