To reach El Arcotete by car from San Cristobal de las Casas, start by heading northwest on Calle 20 de Noviembre towards Calle 5 de Febrero. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Carr. a Tenejapa/México 190. Drive for approximately 8 km on this road. Look for signs indicating El Arcotete. The park will be on your right side, and there is parking available on-site. Please note that there might be a small entrance fee, so keep some cash handy.

For those using public transportation, you can take a colectivo (shared van) from the main bus terminal in San Cristobal de las Casas. Head to the terminal located at Calle 1 de Marzo. Look for colectivos heading towards Tenejapa or San Juan Chamula. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to stop at El Arcotete. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, and the fare is usually around 30-50 MXN. After you get off, follow the signs for a short walk to the entrance of El Arcotete.
