Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the main square, known as El Jardín, begin by heading west on Calle Hidalgo. Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Insurgentes. Turn left onto Calle Insurgentes and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with San Antonio Abad. Turn right onto San Antonio Abad. The Iglesia de San Juan de Dios will be on your left within a couple of minutes, just past the local market.

Walking
From the San Miguel de Allende Public Library (Biblioteca Pública de San Miguel de Allende), exit the library and head east on Calle de la Biblioteca. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Insurgentes. Turn right onto Calle Insurgentes and then take the first left onto San Antonio Abad. Continue down this street, and you will find Iglesia de San Juan de Dios on your left.

Walking
If you are near the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, walk down Calle de San Francisco towards the main square. From the square, follow the earlier route by heading west on Calle Hidalgo, then left onto Calle Insurgentes, and right onto San Antonio Abad. The church will be on your left after a short walk.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you are closer to the bus station, take a local bus towards the center. Once you get off at the nearest bus stop to El Jardín, follow the walking directions provided from the main square. Depending on traffic, the bus ride should take around 10 minutes.
