Car
If you are driving, start in Sayulita and head south on Av. Revolución toward Calle Lázaro Cárdenas. Continue straight onto Carr. Punta de Mita/Mex 200. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will see signs for Playa Carricitos. Turn left onto a dirt road leading to the beach. Be aware that the last part of the road may be unpaved and bumpy, so drive carefully. Parking is limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
To reach Playa Carricitos using public transportation, head to the Sayulita bus terminal located on Av. Revolución. Take a bus headed towards Punta de Mita. The fare is typically around 20-30 pesos. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at Playa Carricitos. Once you arrive, expect a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) down a dirt path toward the beach. Be prepared for a bit of uneven terrain, so wear comfortable shoes.
Walking
If you are already in the center of Sayulita and prefer to walk, head south towards the beach. Walk along the coastline for about 20-30 minutes until you reach Playa Carricitos. The path may be sandy and uneven, so wear appropriate footwear. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
