Getting there

Car

If you are driving, start from the main square in Tequila (Plaza Principal Tequila). Head southwest on Calle Pedro Moreno toward Av. Juárez. Continue onto Carretera a Tequila, which will lead you out of the town. Follow the road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with a dirt road on your left. Turn left onto this dirt road and proceed for another 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Cascada Los Azules. Please note that parking might be available near the entrance, but check for any parking fees.

Public Transportation

From the main square in Tequila, take a local bus headed towards Los Azules. Buses are relatively frequent, so you shouldn’t wait long. The fare is approximately 30 MXN. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop for Cascada Los Azules, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer along a scenic trail to reach the waterfall. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Keep an eye out for signs along the trail.

Taxi

Taxis are available around the main square in Tequila. You can hire a taxi to take you directly to Cascada Los Azules. The ride will take about 20 minutes, and the fare is typically around 150-200 MXN. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your trip, as taxis in the area often do not use meters.
