We had such a great experience, and Lalo truly made it unforgettable. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond. He texted the night before to confirm our pickup time, which I really appreciated. During the tour, he never made us feel rushed. It honestly felt like we were being shown around by a friend. Since we were early, he even took us to an agave field near the Castillo and explained the agave plants and the volcano — it was so interesting and something we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. He answered all of our questions patiently and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. He helped with our bags, took photos for us without us even having to ask, and made sure we were enjoying every moment. What really stood out was his integrity. We accidentally left a souvenir in his car, and he texted us the next morning to let us know and met up with us to return it. That meant so much. If you’re booking a tour, ask for Lalo. You won’t regret it!

Simple to be a tequila tour

I think the tour is too simple they don't explain. They're just dropping you off at the places and not giving you a bigger explanation. They took us to a place to take a Cantaritos to make time, but the guide never gave us an explanation of what the place was, because that drink is famous, nothing absolutely nothing. Then they took us to a very simple and small distillery a minimal explanation, buy and get back in the van, finally they took us to the village of Tequila they took us down without explaining anything, absolutely nothing, and the girl of the tour just told us they have two hours to tour the place here I wait for them. And me with my face of what! Then another girl told her if we would no longer pass through some agave plantation, obviously we all wanted a picture in the agaves, to which she replied that in the restaurant of the little songs there were agaves and that we would no longer pass by. Ultimately, there is no explanation why we should be told about Jalisco, the magic town. Along the way the guide did not give a single explanation. You have to remember that we're not local and we want to know the background to everything.

Private Tour Cascahuin Distillery and visit to Tequila

Excellent and enjoyable tour

We had an excellent day with Mauricio as our guide on our distillery tours near Tequila. We started off at the picturesque Tres Mujeres and learned about their production process and tasted some of their distillates. We moved on to Cascahuin for our private tour and tasting. It was interesting to see the differences (and similarities) to the processes between the two places. Not surprisingly, the sit-down tasting of 6 tequilas at Cascahuin was charming and delicious. Mauricio offered suggestions for additional places to visit. He was also fun to talk with on all kinds of things Mexico. Thanks to Mauricio with Koyote Tours for a lovely day.
