Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Tequila. Head east on Avenida Jose Cuervo towards Calle Francisco I. Madero. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers. Then, take a right onto the road that leads towards Sierra de Magdalena. Follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the Sierra de Magdalena area. Be sure to have a GPS or map app available for precise navigation, as there may be unmarked roads.
Public Transportation
To reach Sierra de Magdalena via public transportation, first make your way to the main bus terminal in Tequila. Look for buses heading toward 'Sierra de Magdalena' or 'Magdalena' - they should be marked on the front. The fare is typically around 20-30 MXN (Mexican Pesos). The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop closest to Sierra de Magdalena, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer to the entrance.
