From your location in Tijuana, head to the nearest bus station. You can take the Tijuana to San Diego bus routes. Look for buses heading towards San Ysidro. Once you arrive at the San Ysidro Port of Entry, cross the border into the United States. After clearing customs, you should find the San Diego bus terminal nearby. From there, take the MTS bus route 992 towards Downtown San Diego. Alight at the 'Santa Fe Depot' stop. From Santa Fe Depot, you can transfer to the MTS trolley, taking the Green Line towards 'Old Town'. Get off at the 'Old Town' stop, then transfer to the Blue Line heading towards 'America Plaza.' Finally, get off at the 'America Plaza' stop and walk towards Harbor Island, which is approximately a 15-minute walk away.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) from anywhere in Tijuana. Simply request a ride to 'Harbor Island, San Diego, CA.' Walking and Public Transit
If you're feeling adventurous and want to experience more of the local area, you can walk to the Tijuana border at San Ysidro. From downtown Tijuana, head south towards Avenida Internacional. Cross into the U.S. and follow the signs to the San Ysidro bus terminal. From there, catch the MTS bus route 992 towards Downtown San Diego. At Santa Fe Depot, switch to the trolley. Take the Green Line to 'Old Town', then transfer to the Blue Line towards 'America Plaza.' Finally, disembark at 'America Plaza' and walk to Harbor Island, which should take about 15 minutes.
