If you're starting from downtown Tijuana, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the 'Tijuana - San Diego' bus. The bus fare is approximately 50 pesos. Make sure to keep your ticket until you reach the San Ysidro border crossing. After crossing the border into the United States, follow the signs to the San Diego trolley station. From there, take the green line towards 'Old Town' and get off at the Old Town station. Once you exit the trolley station, head southwest on San Diego Ave and take a left onto Twiggs St. The Old Town Market will be on your right at 4010 Twiggs St.
Walking
If you are near the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT), you can walk to the San Ysidro border crossing. It takes about 30-40 minutes. Head east on Paseo de los Heroes until you reach the border checkpoint. After crossing into the US, follow the pedestrian path toward the San Diego trolley station. From there, take the green line towards 'Old Town' and get off at the Old Town station. Exit the station and turn left onto San Diego Ave, then take a left onto Twiggs St. The Old Town Market is located at 4010 Twiggs St.
Taxi or Rideshare
From anywhere in Tijuana, you can request a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber. Provide the driver with the address '4010 Twiggs St, San Diego, CA 92110'. Expect to pay around $25 to $40 for the ride, depending on traffic. The driver will take you to the San Ysidro border crossing. After crossing the border, continue the ride to Old Town. The driver can drop you off directly in front of the Old Town Market.
