Presidio Park: A Tranquil Escape in San Diego

Getting There

• Public Bus

  To get to Presidio Park from central Tijuana, walk to the Tijuana Central Bus Station. From there, take a bus to San Diego (look for buses going to the San Ysidro border). Once in San Ysidro, get off at the border and walk through the pedestrian entrance to the U.S. side. After crossing, catch the San Diego Trolley at the San Ysidro Trolley Station and ride it to the Old Town Transit Center. From the Old Town Transit Center, you can take a short walk to Presidio Park. Head northwest on San Diego Ave, then turn left onto Jackson St; you will find the park on your right.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or rideshare service like Uber from your location in Tijuana directly to Presidio Park. Simply provide the driver with the address: 2811 Jackson St, San Diego, CA 92110. This option is more expensive but will save you time and effort navigating public transportation.

• Walking from Old Town

  If you are already in the Old Town area of San Diego, you can walk to Presidio Park. Start at the Old Town State Historic Park and head northwest on San Diego Ave. Continue walking until you reach Jackson St, then turn left. Walk a few blocks, and you will find Presidio Park on your right side.
