Getting There

Bicycle
From the center of Tulum, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops. Head south on Avenida Tulum until you reach the junction with Avenida Coba. Turn right onto Avenida Coba and continue until you reach the intersection with Carretera Tulum-Cancún. Turn left onto Carretera Tulum-Cancún and cycle until you see signs for 'Camino a Punta Allen.' Turn right onto Camino a Punta Allen. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you see Arco Maya on your right. The ride should take approximately 25-30 minutes.

Walking
Starting from the main square in Tulum, walk south on Avenida Tulum to Avenida Coba. At the intersection, turn right onto Avenida Coba and walk until you reach Carretera Tulum-Cancún. From there, you can either continue walking along the road or use a taxi service to take you to Camino a Punta Allen. If walking, take care as this route may be busy and take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Camino a Punta Allen, walk along this road for about 5 kilometers until you arrive at Arco Maya.

From your location in Tulum, find a taxi or use a rideshare app. Inform the driver that you are going to Arco Maya, located on Camino a Punta Allen. The driver will take you along Avenida Tulum to Carretera Tulum-Cancún, then turn onto Camino a Punta Allen. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic, and it is advisable to confirm the fare before the journey.

Head to a nearby collectivo stand, typically located near the main square or along Avenida Tulum. Look for a collectivo heading towards Punta Allen or Sian Ka'an. Once on board, inform the driver that you want to get off at Camino a Punta Allen. After exiting the collectivo, walk along Camino a Punta Allen for about 5 kilometers until you reach Arco Maya. The collectivo ride will take around 20-30 minutes.
