Getting There

  • Bicycle

    Start from the town center of Tulum, heading towards the main avenue known as Avenida Tulum. Once you reach Avenida Tulum, turn left and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Centauro. Turn right on Calle Centauro and head towards the beach area. Follow the road until you reach the Cancun-Chetumal Highway (Carretera Cancun-Chetumal). Turn left at the highway, and continue riding for about 3 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Casa del Cenote on your right. The entrance is well marked, and you can securely park your bicycle outside.

  • Public Bus

    From the ADO bus station in Tulum, catch a bus heading towards Playa del Carmen or Cancun. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Casa del Cenote, which is located along the Cancun-Chetumal Highway. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, look for the entrance on the right side of the highway, which will be marked. You may need to walk a short distance from where the bus drops you off.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start from the main square (Zocalo) in Tulum. Head east along Calle Osiris until you reach Avenida Tulum. Turn left on Avenida Tulum and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle Centauro. Turn right on Calle Centauro and walk towards the beach area. When you reach the Cancun-Chetumal Highway, cross the road carefully. Casa del Cenote will be about 3 kilometers down the highway on your right. This walk will take around 40-50 minutes.
