Bicycle

From the center of Tulum, head north on Avenida Tulum towards the main highway (Chetumal-Cancun). Once you reach the highway, turn left and continue on the side road for about 5 km until you see the signs for Cenote Cristal. The cenote is located right off the highway at km 223.8.

Walking

If you prefer to walk, start from the central plaza in Tulum. Head north on Avenida Tulum until you reach the intersection with Chetumal-Cancun highway. From there, it’s about a 5 km walk, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Look for signs for Cenote Cristal at km 223.8 along the way.

Taxi

To get to Cenote Cristal by taxi, you can easily find a taxi near your accommodation or at designated taxi stands. Inform the driver that you want to go to Cenote Cristal located at Km 223.8 on the Chetumal-Cancun highway. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

Collective Van (Colectivo)

To take a colectivo, head to the main colectivo station in Tulum, located along Avenida Tulum. Look for a colectivo heading toward Playa del Carmen or Chetumal. Ask the driver to drop you off at Cenote Cristal, which is around km 223.8 on the highway. The fare is usually around 30-50 pesos.
