From the center of Tulum, head north on Avenida Tulum towards the main highway (Chetumal-Cancun). Once you reach the highway, turn left and continue on the side road for about 5 km until you see the signs for Cenote Cristal. The cenote is located right off the highway at km 223.8.

If you prefer to walk, start from the central plaza in Tulum. Head north on Avenida Tulum until you reach the intersection with Chetumal-Cancun highway. From there, it’s about a 5 km walk, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Look for signs for Cenote Cristal at km 223.8 along the way.
