Getting There

Bicycle
If you are starting in Tulum town, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head north on Avenida Tulum until you reach the intersection with Avenida Cobá. Turn left onto Avenida Cobá and continue until you reach the beach road (Carretera Tulum-Boca Paila). Turn right and follow this road. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will see Playa Las Palmas on your right. Look for the beach entrance marked by signs.

If you are close to the Tulum ruins, you can walk to Playa Las Palmas. From the entrance of the ruins, head south on the road until you reach Carretera Tulum-Boca Paila. Turn left and walk along the road for about 2.5 kilometers. You will see Playa Las Palmas on your left. It's a short walk, so make sure to carry water with you!
